2015 Schools of the Future Conference

Learn how the learning spaces in a kindergarten classroom became a student centered, project based haven that provides opportunities for students to practice real “people skills." Two kindergarten teachers will share the design elements they incorporated and utilized in their transformation process. Third grade teachers will share how their social studies based curriculum, “Transforming our Society,” integrates Design Thinking, STEAM, and Sustainability concepts with the Common Core Standards. By revising their curriculum, instruction, and assessments, these two teachers have created engaging and meaningful learning experiences for their students.
