Raising Creative Minds: Exploring and Making Connections with the Arts and iPads - Part 1 of 2

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Participants are encourage to bring their iPads with the Explain Everything app installed.

We develop a strong foundation in literacy by teaching through the Arts.  This fosters creative thinking skills and encourages children to develop close observation skills as they step into the world.  When children experience while they paint, draw, photograph, and video, they slow down, look with new perspectives, notice details, write with passion, and understand more deeply.  Encouraging children to explore their environment creatively, make connections, and be inquisitive and reflective are key contributors to a child’s intellectual development.  Through drawing, writing, and iPad exploration, participants will have the opportunity to experience our methods utilizing Explain Everything, Remind, QR codes, and iMovie.
